Daniel Larson’s “Stick-Man” is written, illustrated, colored and lettered by Daniel Larson (Me), so it’s not just a clever title.

Why so possessive? There’s a lot of comics on the web that use the stickman as a rudimentary method of communicating their stories. Whether it’s due to true creative preference or a means by which to compensate for an inability to draw human anatomy with any degree of competence or accuracy (like me), it is a widely utilized approach to making comics. The word “stickman” is hardly copyrightable or likely to be associated with any given writer or artist until they take it to a degree of popularity far larger than a webcomic getting a few thousand hits per day. And it should be voiced by George Clooney (like mine).

I decided that the best way to identify this particular stick-character as uniquely mine and seperate it from the herds of stickmen (and ladies) roving the internets was to put my name in front of it. You might start a stickman comic later today and call it “stickman” but you aren’t going to call it “Daniel Larson’s ‘Stick-Man’” (right? Please don’t. That would be seriously not cool).

The concept and voice of MY Stick-Man have been evolving slowly since I was in High School back in the 1900′s. After several iterations, a few published comic books, some websites and a 10-year hiatus… Stick-Man finally made his way back to the internet a little over a year and a half ago.

And these are his adventures.
